East Coast Mental Wellness takes the role of Emotional Support Animals very serious as well as the evaluation process. Our evaluations are thorough and legitimate. Due to this, our process may be longer than other services (especially fake online services). Please read the following before making your first appointment.
Things to know
Your clinician will need any information from past doctors or mental health professionals with a ESA qualifying diagnosis. If you do not have this information before your first session, you will be asked to sign releases so that we can acquire this information. This may delay the evaluation process.
If you do not have any past qualifying diagnosis from a medical doctor or mental health professionals, you will be required to have at least 3 sessions with one of our therapist. We can not ethically diagnose you without having a clear understanding of your mental health condition. If you have health insurance, they may cover your 3 therapy sessions. You are encouraged to contact your insurance company if you have any questions.
