My name is Avera, and I am a Master of Social Work candidate at King University. I have 20 years of experience in healthcare and patient-centered care. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments, providing support, advocacy, and compassionate guidance across diverse healthcare settings. My passion for helping others heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually led me to pursue social work and deepen my understanding of holistic approaches to wellness. In addition to my professional healthcare background, I became a shamanic practitioner, which has allowed me to integrate spiritual insight, mindfulness, and healing-centered practices into my personal and professional growth. I am passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel heard, empowered, and encouraged on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
