I have 18 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have worked in several different therapy settings. Her experiences include working in a community mental health agency, residential treatment centers, schools, as well as in my private practice. She believes in a wholistic approach to working with clients. This includes looking at each individual client’s life, each and every part of it and the relationships in each part. Mariann has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Lesley University and am Licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Whether you are struggling with everyday issues or an issue involving some sort of loss, she will work together to create goals unique to your situation. She will provide a trusting, therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, comfortable and safe. She offers a variety of counseling methods depending on the client and the issues brought to me. She uses cognitive behavioral methods, Christian spiritual counseling, relational, restructuring of thoughts and behaviors etc.
Many adolescents and adults face issues with bullying, self-esteem issues, issues with gender identify or health agency, residential treatment centers, schools, as well as in my private practice. She believes in a conflict. Issues with abuse, whether physical or emotional need to be dealt with in a sensitive manner. Others face loss in circumstances of death or divorce.
