Please join us each Saturday from 12-1:00 PM for a trauma informed, deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra with yoga teacher and licensed clinician, Madrone Phoenix. Here, you will be guided to drop deep into your core Self, in a safe and supported way. This yoga class is designed for anyone and any body. All that your body needs to do is lie down on the mat. And even if you can’t lie down on the mat, you can still do this practice seated.
Yoga Nidra offers a deep space to explore what you need in the moment, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing long-held emotions. During Yoga Nidra you are able to experience an emotion and come “face to face” with what you want to overcome, without “diving into it” completely—meaning without feeling the emotion so completely that you become overwhelmed.
It is relaxation of the body, while the mind stays awake to explore the boundless nature of our creative being. Over time you continue to experience the emotion and associated feelings, moving deeper into the practice. Practiced with consistency and awareness, you may likely discover that you can find a good amount of peace in a short period of time.
Yoga Nidra is a great compliment to therapy. If you are already an established client of ECMW, we can bill some insurance for this therapeutic yoga class. Space is very limited. Please register below. We look forward to having you join us.
