Hi! My name is Ellie Eager, and I am a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling candidate at Johnson & Wales University. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Vermont with dual studies in Neuroscience and Public Health. My clinical interests include trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and body image. I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, and adults.

I believe in taking the time to foster a genuine, empathetic, collaborative relationship. Together, we will determine approaches that feel authentic and develop skills that can be sustainably integrated your lifestyle. We will work to identify unhelpful patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop strategies for positive change. If incorporating somatic exercises, meditation, art, and music into practice sounds like something you’re interested in, this may be a great fit!

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, whether you’re new to therapy or are looking for a change. I strive to meet clients where they’re at, with empathy, humor, and authentic human connection. Regardless of what brings you, I’m here to guide, support, and cheer you on!
