Hi, I am Katie Clark, a Master of Social Work candidate at Boston University, pursuing my passion for mental health and client-centered care. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and emotional well-being.

In addition to my work at ECMW, I have worked the last few years as a Mental Health Specialist at McLean Hospital, providing direct care to adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals of all ages–from infants to adolescents to adults and older adults–as well as their families, supporting them through a range of mental health challenges. My experience includes crisis intervention, emotional support, and trauma-informed care in both hospital and community-based settings.

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, trust, and collaboration. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel; heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. By tailoring my approach to each person’s unique needs, I aim to help clients build resilience, develop coping skills, and work toward personal growth and healing.

I will have my BCI and Professional Liability Insurance for you soon.
