I am Kathryn Torimoto and go by Kathy. I am a recent graduate of Adler University online campus. I have completed my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. I completed BA at Antioch University-Seattle in 2020.
I am a New England native, although I have lived all over the country for the past twenty plus years. I lived in California, Illinois both rural and Chicago, Seattle, WA and most recently returned to New England to complete my LMHC.
My focus is on strength-based and person focused approaches. Adlerian theory, feminism, and existentialism are my preferred theories because of the holistic nature and empowerment focus. I have also studied early childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma and their impact on people’s lives.
I have spent most of my adult life professionally and personally working with diverse groups of people. I see all people as possessing inherent worth and value so that requires treating people with dignity and respect. I look forward to helping
improve your life in the best ways for you.
